Mr. Dead White Guy, this stuff is beautiful and I will celebrate it but I REFUSE YOUR INTERPRETIVE PARADIGM.
I will accept the traditions only under terms that give me agency over their interpretation.
Misunderstanding is a powerful decolonial tool.
