If can find where to get a copy of the Pixies' Surfer Rosa, will love you long time.
EDIT: Will love you longer time if can also find a copy of Husker Du's Zen Arcade or The Arcade Fire's Funeral.

hello! um at the expense of seeming unbelievably stalkery and assuming you don't mean the actual CD, might this help? surfer rosa: hxxp://www.mediafire.com/?nmamvojs49x i don't know what your stand is wrt downloading though. x)

get a livejournal account! then you can join music communities where people often post good recs. i'd recommend audiography (which has a theme each week) and indie_exchange (which is generally cool, not necessarily strictly indie and there are pretty comprehensive discographies of some artists) :D

(aditi here btw)

I do mean the actual CD though... I definitely know how to d/l and stuff, but there's something about owning the meat stuff, aside from sound quality. I guess it's the liner notes.
